Careers
At Aktahund we breed for soundness of body, character and temperament and strive to ensure our puppies are well adjusted and much loved members of their families, offering support and training/advice for the lifetime of the puppy.
All our litters are from Hip and Elbow certified parents (Equivalent A Z Stamps). As we no longer tattoo our puppies, preferring instead to microchip, we are unable to attain the A Z Certificates however we use the same criteria and scheme.
We enjoy showing our dogs in the Specialist German Shepherd Shows and have enjoyed success in this arena from Invercargill in the South to Waikato and Hawkes Bay in the North. We always take the best dogs home at the end of the day no matter what the results.
